The event marked a massive achievement for sustainable development: renewable energy solutions are now supporting 325 health facilities across remote regions in Nagaland! Having executed multiple projects in close partnership with SELCO, we have seen firsthand how decentralized solar energy transforms rural healthcare and strengthens local communities.

The highlights of the session include:

Shri TR Zeliang (Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Nagaland) highlighted the critical importance of inter-departmental collaboration to build a truly self-reliant Nagaland.

Harish Hande (CEO, SELCO Foundation) emphasized that quality, equitable healthcare infrastructure must reach even the most remote communities.

We announce the successful installation of a 50 kW Hybrid Solar Plant at the Nagaland Tool Room & Training Centre (NTTC), Dimapur, Nagaland. This advanced hybrid system is designed to power the administrative block, ensuring seamless, uninterrupted operations while significantly reducing the facility’s carbon footprint. This is a CSR project from Bharat Forge Ltd.

The project was officially inaugurated on April 10th, 2026, marking a significant milestone for Industry 4.0 in Nagaland.
