This scene in Red Dead Redemption 2 is of a random camper/stranger encounter (Friendly Camper), who is sitting near a stick/bough shelter he built.
You can mainly find this location at one of the following places:
* Scarlett Meadows / Macomb's End (Lemoyne): In the green woods near Ringneck Creek and Dewberry Creek, where you often run into a female gunslinger/camper (who tells the story of Black Belle).
* The Heartlands / Cumberland Forest (New Hanover): Northwest of Emerald Ranch or in the open grassy and wooded areas of Cumberland Forest.
* Roanoke Ridge (southwest of Elysian Pool): In the forests around the Kamassa River, you can find a similar branch shelter.
If you open the map and check, it’s usually spotted near campfire smoke in the wild/grass areas of Lemoyne or New Hanover.
