Naveen's Glen is a perfect rendition of everything you look for in a holiday stay. A family run estate spread across two mountain tops and a valley, with arguably the most spectacular views in the area, we overlook the Sattal lake, the Gola River and Nainital in the far distance. Tucked away between the foothills and higher Himalayas, we are a short detour off the Bhimtal road, where we leave behi

nd the madness of nearby hill stations and make our way to a green haven, surrounded by nature and wildlife. Our story goes back to 1990, when Naveen Budhraja, a young mountain loving engineer chanced upon the area, which was then a barren drought struck village abandoned by its inhabitants. He instantly fell in love with its natural landscape, wide-open spaces, meditative energy and abundant fauna. It was decided then that he would settle there and bring vivacity and life to the deserted hill top, while conserving the surrounding forest and its natural wealth.
