Haryana Govt. Solar Policy 2016

The Government of Haryana has notified the Haryana Solar Power Policy 2016 vide their Memo No.19/4/2016-5 Power dated 3rd March 2016.

Clause 5.1 of the said Policy mandates the installation of Solar Power Plant of 3% to 5% of connected load, have various categories including Industrial Establishment.

It further states that “If the user covered under the mandatory provision is not installing the rooftop solar power plant as per the notification, then penalty shall be imposed as per government rules and regulations".

The clause of penalty has been added in this policy which was not there earlier.
