On 14th April 2026, we honoured the life and legacy of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar — jurist, economist, social reformer, and the chief architect of the Indian Constitution. The program commenced with a solemn garlanding ceremony at Dr. Ambedkar's portrait, followed by student speeches that highlighted his enduring legacy as a champion of equality, justice, and human rights. An engaging quiz tested participants' knowledge of his life and monumental contributions to Indian society and governance. The event concluded with an immersive audio-visual presentation that celebrated his journey from humble beginnings to becoming the chief architect of the Indian Constitution.

The Doctor–Academia Meet on AI-based Translational Technology in Cancer & Chronic Diseases was successfully conducted on March 13, 2026 under the ANRF-PAIR initiative. The event was jointly organized by IIIT Vadodara and IIT Gandhinagar at IIIT Vadodara – International Campus Diu (ICD).

Doctors and Researchers from AIIMS, NIMHANS, Narayana Multispeciality Hospital, Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, and other institutions participated in discussions on AI-driven healthcare solutions for cancer and chronic diseases.

IIIT Vadodara successfully organized the two-day Karyashala “GenAI-Health 2026” on 28 February – 1 March 2026 at the Gandhinagar Campus.

The program, sponsored by ANRF-PAIR and jointly organized with IIT Gandhinagar, focused on the fundamentals and practical implementation of Generative AI and Large Language Models.

The event featured expert talks from IISc Bangalore, IIT Gandhinagar, Stony Brook University, and industry professionals, along with hands-on sessions that provided participants with practical exposure to emerging AI technologies.

We thank all speakers, participants, faculty members, and student volunteers for contributing to the success of this Karyashala.

Celebrating Excellence at QuantiPhy 2026!

We are pleased to share that the National Level Online Science Quiz Competition - QuantiPhy 2026 was successfully organized by the Indian Institute of Information Technology Vadodara (IIITV) in association with the Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT), RC-7 (Gujarat, Daman and Diu) on 2nd–3rd March 2026, on the occasion of National Science Day, based on the theme of Quantifying Science in Daily life.

The competition witnessed an enthusiastic response, with nearly 1000 students registering from various institutions and universities across the country.

The competition consisted of two rounds:
Round 1: An MCQ-based quiz, from which 50 students qualified for the next stage.
Round 2: An essay writing competition based on scientific images provided to the participants.

We are delighted to announce the winners and the Top 10 candidates for their outstanding performance in the essay writing competition, demonstrating exceptional scientific insight and creativity.
