वक्रतुण्ड महाकाय सूर्यकोटि समप्रभ।
निर्विघ्नं कुरु मे देव सर्वकार्येषु सर्वदा॥
यह पर्व है दीपावली। कार्तिक मास की अमावस्या को प्रतिवर्ष मनाया जाने वाला यह 'दीपोत्सव' श्री राम के चौदह वर्ष के वनवास के पश्चात अयोध्या लौटने के उपलक्ष्य में, तथा च देवी महालक्ष्मी द्वारा संसार में धन, धान्य और समृद्धि प्रदान करने की तिथि के रूप में मनाया जाता है। यह तिथि अंधकार पर प्रकाश, अज्ञान पर ज्ञान और निराशा पर आशा की विजयम् का उद्घोष करती है। अतः हम इस शुभ दिन पर दीपों की श्रृंखला से अपने घरों को सजाते हैं, तथा माता लक्ष्मी एवं भगवान गणेश का पूजन कर जीवन में सुख-समृद्धि की कामना करते हैं। चारों ओर दीयों की जगमगाहट और पटाखों की ध्वनि हमें नूतन ऊर्जा और सकारात्मकता के मार्ग पर चलने का संदेश देती है।

नवरात्रि, यानी नौ रातों का यह पावन पर्व, अश्विन मास की प्रतिपदा से नवमी तक मनाया जाता है। यह त्योहार अधर्म पर धर्म की विजय और नारी शक्ति के सम्मान का प्रतीक है। इन नौ दिनों में, माँ दुर्गा के नौ स्वरूपों की आराधना की जाती है, और प्रत्येक देवी एक महत्वपूर्ण दैवीय शक्ति का प्रतिनिधित्व करती है: शैलपुत्री (अटल विश्वास), ब्रह्मचारिणी (साधना), चंद्रघंटा (वीरता), कूष्मांडा (सृजन), स्कंदमाता (प्रेम), कात्यायनी (विनाश), कालरात्रि (ज्ञान), महागौरी (पवित्रता), और सिद्धिदात्री (समस्त सिद्धियाँ)। इस दौरान, घरों में कलश स्थापना होती है, उपवास रखे जाते हैं, और गरबा-डांडिया का उत्साह रहता है। यह उत्सव हमें अपनी आंतरिक शक्ति को जागृत करने की प्रेरणा देता है।
