ACME Solar has secured INR 1,571 crore long-term project funding from India Infrastructure Finance Company Ltd (IIFCL) for the construction and development of the ACME Renewtech Sixth 300 MW assured peak power project in Rajasthan.

IIFCL is the sole lender for the project, with a repayment tenor of 19 years. This marks IIFCL’s first sole greenfield finance to ACME.

With this milestone, the overall financing secured by ACME Solar during this fiscal stands at INR 10,976 crore.

The Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for this project has been executed with SECI Limited for a period of 25 years at a tariff of INR 6.28/unit.

The project combines multiple renewable energy technologies including Solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) to meet the supply obligations under its PPA ensuring higher predictability and dispatchability. The project entails a total capex of INR 2123 crore and forms part of ACME Solar’s broader battery-storage capital deployment programme for the current financial year.

The project will integrate 1350 MWh BESS alongside solar generation, enabling assured peak power supply under its PPA.

As part of UDAAN 2026, our Graduate Engineer Trainees took part in sessions designed to help them navigate this important transition. Through interactive discussions, real-world perspectives and expert guidance, the sessions encouraged them to look beyond their first roles and understand what it takes to thrive in the professional world.

For our GETs, it was an opportunity to reflect, learn and prepare for the journey where their knowledge, curiosity and ideas can contribute to the evolving energy landscape.

ACME Solar has successfully completed INR 2,147 crore refinancing, thereby redeeming existing NCDs. Concurrently, the underlying offshore dollar bonds have also been fully redeemed.

The refinancing covers 12 operational SPVs with a cumulative capacity of 450 MW under the Restricted Group (RG) Structure. The long-term refinancing has been availed from National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development (NaBFID), reducing the borrowing cost by approximately 150 basis points across these issuing SPVs, resulting in stronger project cash flows and an enhanced long-term capital structure.

The RG Structure, comprising 12 operational solar assets, is provisionally rated AA- by CARE Ratings, with 56% of the overall capacity tied up with Central Utilities, including SECI and NTPC. This takes the total financing raised so far during the current fiscal to INR 8,198 crore.

A strong start to FY27 reflects the continued momentum of ACME Solar's integrated renewable energy platform.

Driven by higher irradiation, improved plant performance, and continued renewable energy and BESS capacity additions, ACME Solar delivered robust growth across revenue, profitability, and energy sales during the quarter.

Q1 FY27 also marked significant progress in strengthening ACME Solar's ex*****on pipeline, with the commissioning of ~2.3 GWh of BESS capacity, signing of 600 MW of FDRE and Hybrid PPAs with SECI, and continued expansion of its under-construction portfolio.

As ACME Solar continues to scale its renewable energy and battery energy storage capabilities, it remains focused on disciplined ex*****on and creating long-term value through an integrated clean energy platform.
