:Why do we raise an Inspection Request?
✅ To formally request client/consultant inspection and approval before proceeding to the next activity, ensuring quality compliance.
:What is the difference between IR and WIR?
✅ IR (Inspection Request) is general; WIR (Work Inspection Request) specifically relates to site activities like rebar, formwork, or concrete.
:When should you raise a WIR?
✅ After completing a stage of work and before covering or proceeding to the next step (e.g., before concrete pour or backfilling).
:What if the consultant rejects your WIR?
✅ Rectify the work as per comments, attach photographic evidence, and resubmit the WIR for re-inspection.
:What code indicates full approval?
✅ Code A (Approved). Code B means conditional; Code C means rejected.
:Can we pour concrete without WIR approval?
