Under the aegis of the Ozone Foundation and the Robin Hood Army, on the occasion of the 26th birth anniversary of Sagar Mangla Ji, the eldest son of the Ozone Group Chairman, Shri Parveen Mangla Ji, 2600 packets of mid-day meals were provided to poor and helpless kids in different areas of Aligarh, like Pala Road, Barauli Bypass, Khereshwar Dham, Sasni Gate, Mridul Nagar, etc. For many years, the trustees of Ozone, The Mangla Family, have been actively involved in charity work of different kinds, especially during the auspicious occasions of the year. From feeding the poor, distributing school bags, clothes, shoes, and other items to slums, and even environmentally friendly work like plantation drives, the family has taken an interest in every possible field. The main motive for establishing this foundation was to carry out this kind of charity work on a large scale. The mission also involves making good use of leftover food, educating poor children, blood donation drives, and free ambulance service for sick and helpless people.
Robin Hood Army is an international-level NGO that is also involved in similar charity work. Bittu Bhaiya, the Aligarh representative for the NGO, believes that this collaboration with Ozone Foundation at various events will help both organizations work twice as fast and help reach many more of those in need. Sagar Mangla Ji believes that our aim should be that no one should go to bed hungry, and food donation drives like these are a small step in that direction. He wants to ensure that everyone gets enough food and no child has to forego education due to a lack of money. Naman Mangla, Mrs. Preeti Mangala, Kamal Khan, Shailendra Chaudhary, Aziz Ejaz, Bharat Sharma, Pranjal, Jyoti Sharma, Bharti, and many more, helped to make this food distribution ceremony a success.
