🎉 Proud Achievement for KLE Institute of Technology, Hubballi!

We are delighted to share that our students Ronit Bongale, Krishna Pawar, and Shakuntala Saunshi from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering have secured 1st Place at the NAIN 2.0 Graduation & Demo Day, held at IIIT Dharwad.

Their project titled “AI-Powered Assistive Technology for Visually Impaired Students” impressed the jury for its innovative approach towards improving accessibility in education by converting printed and handwritten text into speech using Artificial Intelligence.

The team successfully developed and demonstrated the project under the guidance of Dr. Rajesh Yakkundimath, Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, with the support of Mr. Manjunath Prasad, Assistant Professor and Institute NAIN Coordinator at KLE Institute of Technology.

This recognition at the NAIN 2.0 (New Age Innovation Network) Graduation & Demo Day reflects the students’ dedication to innovation, research, and creating technology-driven solutions for societal impact.

Kavya S. Rodnavar 8th Semester EEE created history in KLE. IT for selecting 3 different Sports Disciplines in the same year as VTU University Blue in 3 different Sports Disciplines.

1) Football Women South Zone Inter University held at Alagappa University, Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu from 29th December 2025 to 2nd January 2026.

2) Softball Women All India Inter University to be held at Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati, Maharashtra from 6th to 10th February 2026.

3) Netball Women All India Inter University to be held at Krishna University, Machlipatam, Andrapradesh from 14th to 18th February 2026.
