On Saturday, 24 October 2026, distinguished dignitaries gathered in Hyderabad to pay tribute to Padma Shri Dr. A.V.S. Raju, Founder and Chairman Emeritus of NCC Limited, celebrating a life defined by vision, perseverance and lasting contributions.

Former Vice President of India, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu, described the occasion as a celebration of the life of a great man who had shown the light to many and inspired countless people.

CMD of Vasudha Pharma, Shri M.V. Rama Raju, fondly recalled Dr. Raju’s early entrepreneurial journey, highlighting the determination, commitment and resourcefulness that shaped his path and contributed to his remarkable achievements.

Former Board Chairman of NCC, Dr. A.S. Durga Prasad, highlighted how Dr. Raju’s vision, passion and hard work transformed NCC Limited into one of India’s leading construction companies.

Their heartfelt recollections honoured not only a visionary entrepreneur but also a leader whose values, determination and commitment continue to inspire generations.

This achievement reflects the dedication of the entire project team and their consistent focus on safe work practices, disciplined ex*****on and high HSE standards.

The milestone was also recognised by Tata Consulting Engineers Ltd. and Odisha Bridge & Construction Corporation (OBCC) with certificate of appreciation presented to the JBPC Puri project team.

Shree Setu, constructed by NCC Limited under the Government of Odisha’s ABADHA initiative, creates a direct connection from NH-316 to the Jagannath Ballav Pilgrim Centre improving mobility and helping ease pressure on Puri’s congested inner roads.
