The Young Leaders’ Summit (YLS) 2026, held at IIM Bangalore as part of Venix 2026, brought together young students and emerging leaders for a day of insightful conversations, diverse perspectives, and meaningful engagement. Gaurav Layek and Sneha Andrea from IcfaiTech | Faculty of Science & Technology (FST) participated in the summit, representing the institution and gaining valuable exposure to a diverse gathering of young minds and emerging leaders.

The summit featured interactions and discussions around contemporary issues in business, technology, leadership, and society. The event provided an enriching platform for participants to listen to accomplished speakers, engage in thought-provoking conversations, exchange ideas, and question conventional perspectives. The sessions encouraged participants to look at emerging challenges through a broader and more global lens while understanding the responsibilities that come with being young leaders in an increasingly complex world.

The participation of Gaurav Layek and Sneha Andrea provided them with an opportunity to broaden their perspectives, interact with peers from diverse backgrounds, and gain insights into leadership, innovation, and contemporary global challenges. Overall, YLS 2026 was a valuable experience that went beyond conventional learning, offering participants an opportunity to connect with new ideas, perspectives, and conversations shaping the future.

Global Education Fair 2026 Inaugurated at ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education, Hyderabad

The Global Education Fair 2026 was inaugurated at IcfaiTech | Faculty of Science & Technology (FST) ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education, Hyderabad with the objective of providing students with greater exposure to international higher education opportunities and enabling them to interact directly with representatives of universities from across the world.

The event was inaugurated by Prof. Vinay Kumar, Vice Chancellor , IFHE along with
K L NARAYANA , Director, ICFAI Tech, and Prof. Venugopal, Director, IBS. The presence of the distinguished dignitaries added significance to the event and highlighted the institution's commitment to promoting global academic opportunities for its students.

The Global Education Fair will bring together representatives from several universities, providing students with an opportunity to learn about postgraduate programmes, admission requirements, scholarships, research opportunities, international campuses, and career prospects. The direct interaction with university representatives will enable students to clarify their queries and gain first-hand information about pursuing higher studies abroad.

The fair was planned to benefit students across different years. Third- and fourth-year students will be encouraged to explore opportunities for their immediate higher-study plans, while second-year students will have early exposure to international education options so that they could begin preparing and planning for higher studies at an appropriate stage of their academic journey.

As part of the Samsung Back to College 2026 initiative, Samsung, in association with IcfaiTech | Faculty of Science & Technology (FST), The ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education - IFHE , Hyderabad, organised an engaging Expert-Led AI Workshop on 31 August 2026.

The session was led by Ms. Vandita Kullarni, who offered students valuable insights into moving beyond simply using AI tools to using AI effectively, creatively, and responsibly.

The workshop focused on practical and relevant aspects of AI, including:
🔹 Effective prompting techniques
🔹 Context-based interaction with AI
🔹 Using AI for learning and productivity
🔹 Exploring real-world applications of AI
🔹 Responsible and purposeful use of AI
The interactive session encouraged students to think critically about how AI can become a powerful learning and productivity partner when used with the right approach.

IcfaiTech | Faculty of Science & Technology (FST) hosted an insightful Guest Lecture on “Importance of Mathematics for Engineering Students” on 4th September 2026.
The session was delivered by Prof. G. Ramakrishnamacharya, who shared valuable insights into the significance of mathematical concepts in engineering education and their practical applications in solving real-world engineering problems.
The lecture provided students with a deeper perspective on how mathematics serves as a strong foundation for analytical thinking, problem-solving, and technical innovation.
