We are elated to share this sustainable news by Better India and thankful for giving this prestigious place to"BETi" (Biotech Era Transforming India) in the Central India 👸.
A sustainable society 🌱 is one that has learned to live within the boundaries established by ecological limits and successfully integrates economic, social, and environmental considerations.
Whatever we take must be returned back to the nature 🌎, so that we can accommodate the need of current and future generations.
BETi is focussed on solving ground level problems with sustainable practices with the help of fungi or white biotechnology 🍄, which is resulting in converting the useless crop residue into very healthy and useful products.
There is a complete circular chain setting up example of circular economy 🍃 of utilizing agriwaste🌾 , producing mushrooms 🍄from them, processing it back into value added products and the spent mushroom substrate (sms) means the waste left after mushroom cultivation to convert into biodegradable products. No waste is generated in this process instead all types of waste are converted into useful products. This not only helps in creating sustainable future but also secondary income from agriwaste by livelihood generation for many farmers and females which impact the society and environment equally.
