Halli Mysore, Hassan : Marking a significant stride toward clean energy and sustainable rural development, a 3.543 MW solar power plant under PM KUSUM flagship scheme developed by Solar91 Cleantech Ltd was formally inaugurated in Halli Mysore, Hassan district , by Arakalagudu MLA Sri A. Manju, Solar91 Cleantech Ltd CEO Sri Sandeep Gurnani, CESC EE Sri Arjun, KPTCL EE Sri Gokul, and former Panchayat Chairman Sri Shambhashivappa, along with farmers and local residents.

At the RE+BESS Leadership Summit 2026 organized by the Rajasthan Solar Association (RSA), key discussions focused on the expansion of Battery Energy Storage Systems and the future of Rajasthan’s renewable energy ecosystem.

With a pilot BESS project already initiated at a 33 kV GSS, Rajasthan is taking steps towards its vision of deploying BESS across GSSs and achieving its ambitious 10 GW BESS target, as highlighted by Hon’ble Energy Minister Shri Heeralal Nagar.
