The International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Engineering Design, Processes & Management for Sustainable Development (ICAEMS – 2026) was successfully held on 29th April 2026 at Narayanaguru College of Engineering.

Dr. T.P.D. Rajan, Chief Scientist, Materials Science and Technology Division, CSIR-NIIST, Trivandrum, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

The function was presided over by Mr. Balaji Sidharth, Chairman, Narayanaguru Group of Institutions; Mrs. Anuja Balaji, Managing Trustee; and Dr. M. Sivapragash, Principal. The conference was convened by Dr. Ajitha Priyadarsini, HoD/EEE.

Students and researchers from various institutions actively presented their research papers, facilitating technical discussions and exchange of ideas in the domain of Artificial Intelligence and sustainable development.

The event provided a platform for academic collaboration, innovation, and research engagement.

TARANG–2K26 – College Day Celebrations
Narayanaguru College of Engineering

Narayanaguru College of Engineering celebrated TARANG–2K26 on 13 March 2026 at the college auditorium with enthusiastic participation from students and faculty.

The program began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Chairman Mr. Balaji Sidharth and Managing Trustee Mrs. Anuja Balaji. The Principal, Dr. M. Sivapragash, presented the Annual Report outlining achievements in academics, placements, sports, and co-curricular activities.

Chief Guest, John R. D. Santosham, B.A., B.L., District Judge (Retd.) and presently Chairman, Mental Health Board, Ramanathapuram, delivered a motivational address emphasizing the importance of discipline, dedication, and mental well-being.

Special Guest, Ganesh Venkatraman – Actor, Model & Motivational Speaker, encouraged students to pursue their goals with confidence and determination.

Students were honored during the Prize Distribution Ceremony. Cultural performances, including dance, music, and drama, showcased student talent.

The event was further enlivened by a musical concert by playback singer Saisharan and his team. The program was hosted by M. Naveen Kumar, mimicry artist, and Sreedevi M, Vijay TV serial actress, adding energy and charm to the celebration.

The event concluded with a DJ Fest and a vote of thanks. TARANG–2K26 was a successful celebration of achievement, talent, and unity.

The 24th Annual Sports Day of Narayanaguru College of Engineering, Manjalumoodu, was successfully conducted on 12 March 2026 at the college ground with great enthusiasm and participation from students and faculty members.

The sports meet began with the Flag Hoisting Ceremony by the Chief Guest, followed by the Flag Salute and Sports Pledge, encouraging students to uphold the spirit of sportsmanship and fair play.

A vibrant March Past by the student teams representing different houses added color and discipline to the event. The Olympic Torch was lit and the oath was administered by Balaji Sidharth, Chairman of Narayana Guru Group of Institutions, symbolizing the official commencement of the sports meet.

The gathering was addressed by Dr. M. Sivapragash, Principal, who delivered the Presidential Address, motivating students to actively participate in sports along with academics. The Chief Guest Address by Rajesh National kabaddi Player, Motivational speaker inspired students to develop discipline, teamwork, and perseverance through sports.

The sports meet was officially declared open with the Releasing of Doves by Anuja Balaji, Managing Trustee of Narayana Guru Group of Institutions, along with other dignitaries.

The event concluded with the Prize Distribution Ceremony, recognizing the achievements of the winners and celebrating the spirit of sportsmanship among the students.

Narayanaguru College of Engineering celebrated International Women’s Day on 09th March 2026 at the Seminar Hall with great enthusiasm, honoring the achievements and contributions of women in society.
The program was graced by Dr. Divya Ranjith, MBBS., MD (O&G), FRM, Deputy Director, PPK Hospital, Marthandam, who attended as the Chief Guest. She delivered an insightful and inspiring talk on Women’s Health and Women’s Empowerment, emphasizing the importance of maintaining physical and mental well-being and encouraging women to realize their potential in all spheres of life.
The function was held in the presence of Mrs. Anuja Balaji, Managing Trustee, Narayanaguru Group of Institutions, and Dr. M. Sivapragash, Principal, Narayanaguru College of Engineering.
Dr. Ajitha Priyadharsini, Women’s Cell Coordinator, along with faculty members and students, actively participated in the celebration and highlighted the importance of empowering women through education, awareness, and equal opportunities.

Narayanaguru College of Engineering conducted the Science Day Celebration – SciNexis on 27 February 2026 at the Seminar Hall, commemorating National Science Day with activities that promoted scientific curiosity and innovation among students.

The event featured a session by the Chief Guest, Dr. Ginil Mon S., Assistant Professor of Chemistry, Nesamony Memorial Christian College, Marthandam, and President, International Environment Congress Association, who shared valuable insights on the relevance of science in addressing global challenges. As part of the celebration, Quiz Competitions and Paper Presentation events were conducted, and prizes were distributed to the winners in recognition of their knowledge, research, and presentation skills.

The celebration was organized in the presence of Mr. Balaji Sidharth, Chairman, Mrs. Anuja Balaji, Managing Trustee, and Dr. M. Sivapragash, Principal, whose encouragement and support added significance to the occasion.
