TAKE THE AUTOMATED BILL
A FULLY AUTOMATED RETAIL OUTLET WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING FEATURES:
1. The machine has a keypad which takes in value in terms of Amount (Rupees) or Quantity (Litres) to be delivered to the customer. Once the number is fed in the machine, the exact fuel will be delivered to you regardless of the speed, amount or quantity.
2. The Nozzles of the machine have a special Auto Cut features, which stops the fuel when the fuel touches it. Sometimes due to the gas or pressure present in the vehicle, the nozzle stops also.
3. The outlets also have a automated bill system, wherein the details of your transaction are stated.
4. The outlets also have a automation system, which records EACH and EVERY transaction taking place at the outlet. It records the time as well. Incase of any doubt you can view the automation system.
5. The outlet has a 5 Litre measure, stamped by the Weights And Measures department. Incase of any doubt of the quantity, you can request to check the measure.
MYTHS REGARDING FUELING AT A FULLY AUTOMATD RO :
1. Fuelling in multiples of 10 leads to theft of fuel by the owner
The quantity of the fuel will be accurate in a fully automated machine. The quantity will be in accordance with the amount.
6. Higher the speed of fuelling, the quantity of the fuel decreases.
Regardless of the speed, the amount will be fully delivered to you.
7. If the Customer Attendant (Staff) keeps his hand on the nozzle, he is stealing the fuel
The Customer Attendant in any manner cannot steal the fuel by touching the nozzle. It is all automatic and the amount shown on the machine is the exact amount filled in your vehicle.
8. The car needle did not rise, means you have not filled anything
Once the customer has seen the starting 0 , the final reading and has a automated bill. It is impossible that the fuel is not delivered.
9. The tank capacity is 50L (for e.g..) but the attendant filled 60L.
There is a possibility that the fuel in the car can exceed the capacity of the tank. This is due to the space left in the vehicle for vapours to be formed and also the pipelines from the tank to the engine and the tank to the filling point. But it is advisable to not fill after the nozzle cuts.
