In this century plastic has become the wonder product, but the toxic waste created by it was most dangerous one. So, our generation should start the practice of recycling the plastic and make sure the natural resources are returned to nature.
Plastic Recycling
Process of collecting different types of unused/wasted plastics and reprocess them to various products. So at the end product made of plastic should be recycled into different plastic product.
Stages of Plastic Recycling
Collecting:
Collecting different types of plastic which includes plastic jars, bags, covers and packing materials.
Sorting:
Not all plastic are reusable and recyclable so sorting the plastic based on the resin content and by identifying the recycling symbol and number.
Cutting:
Once sorting has been done, that should be chopped into small recyclable pieces. Once chopping has been done, again sorting should be done to identify the final recyclable plastic pieces.
Refinement:
Identified recyclables pieces should be washed multiple times so that it will go into final decontamination stage, post that chopped pieces are left to dry
Extruding
Finally, the identified chopped pieces are melted by using special equipment to get the granules of different color and quality, using which new product will be produced.
