Meeting with farmers at Jairambati in 1st week of February, 2020. Dr. Satyabrata Ghosh is delivering his lecture on mushrooms cultivation. Dr. Subhasish Das discussed about organic farming and aquaponics. The meeting was headed by Prof. SatyHari Dey, Department of Biotechnology, IIT Kharagpur (and then Managing Director of Science and Technology Entrepreneurs' Park, IIT Kharagpur) and he talked about how tissue culture can revolutionize cultivation of banana, pineapple, etc. He also discussed about latest developments in farming and upcoming technologies that can change our daily life.
