Delivered a session at the Rubber Board of India, Kottayam, on the application of drones in rubber plantations, with a focus on fungicide spraying and disease management.
The discussion covered practical observations from our field operations using the FIA QD10 drone, including reduced chemical input requirements, improved spray consistency, and faster coverage compared to conventional methods.
A live field demonstration was also conducted as part of the program, allowing participants to observe drone spraying operations under actual plantation conditions.
The seminar was jointly organized by the Rubber Board and BPCL, with participation from growers, plantation representatives, researchers, and technical experts from the sector.
