ποΈ WHY SOIL TESTING & STRUCTURAL RECOMMENDATIONS ARE IMPORTANT
Before constructing any building, the most important thing is not the elevation or designβ¦
It is the strength of the soil below the building.
This soil investigation report clearly shows different soil layers, groundwater level, and soil strength at various depths. Based on the soil condition, the structural engineer recommended Single Bulb Pile foundation for safe load transfer.
π WHAT IS BULB PILING?
Bulb piling (Under Reamed Pile) is a special type of pile foundation where an enlarged bulb is formed at the bottom of the pile.
This bulb helps the pile to grip stronger soil strata and safely transfer the building load.

π In this project, different layers like filling, clayey sand, silty sand, sandy clay, and pebble mixed strata were found.
Based on SPT values and soil condition, bulb piles were recommended for structural safety.
Recommended capacities:
πΈ 40 cm pile β 15 Ton
πΈ 45 cm pile β 20 Ton
πΈ 50 cm pile β 25 Ton
