In an effort to bridge the gap between the young RC hobbyists/aeromodellers and the aerospace industry, Glorod Avionics Pvt. (GAPL) was launched to manufacture R/C Scale Model Aircrafts, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and other Unmanned Vehicles (UVs). The company su
pplies remotely operated aircrafts for hobbyists, educational institutions, organizations involved with forest development, weather forecasting and also research and development institutes that depend on land, sea and air surveillance. At Glorod Avionics we foresee the need for an all round development in the society, for which we utilize the best in aerospace engineering to bridge the gap between future aspirants in the field of aerospace technology and their social and human commitments. The Research and Development division of GAPL designs and develops CAD based innovative designs, which are then manufactured using the latest technology in aerospace instrumentation ranging from laser precision incidence meters to frictionless magnetic prop balancers for accuracy and consistency. GAPL aspires to introduce indigenous solutions for the local Indian market. We source materials locally, including Balsa Wood (planted, harvested and scientifically treated at GAPL facility), all grades of metals, composites & resins. We design our products to perfection, upholding the accepted standards of the industry. In pursuit of the needs of the Unmanned Systems Industry in India, we formed “Unmanned Systems Association of India(USAI)” an association for uniting all individuals, organisations and companies from the Indian Unmanned Industry. USAI’s goal is “To promote the safe, integrated and effective use of unmanned systems in air, ground and water for both military and civilian environments in India.” Fuelled by our passion for innovative approaches to resolve issues both technical and social in dimension, we hope to provide our customers the very best of services and technology money can buy.
