Leadership and Responsibility are spoken of so frequently and loosely that many don’t understand that while both are different in scope they are bound together in ex*****on.

The disastrous floods in Bihar and Bengal is yet another situation why Responsible Leadership needs to be defined by impact measurement and not by measurement of philanthropy. While many are contributing to the cause with their chequebooks, yet again Pataka Group and Team went straight to the field. 10,000 families reached with food and shelter within a week.

Impact Leadership is about meaningful decisions in an aligned purpose driven organisation. It is personal, people centric and action driven.

A long time ago a man opened his first office. No certificates and awards hanging at the background. A desk with minimal crucial paperwork of a rising business. With even his son allowed to play in the cabin.

Today the office has changed, the cabin is filled with awards and accolades. The table is filled with important files of a business empire. The Man is still the same.

Leaders start from humble beginnings. But responsible leaders stay true to their origins, purpose and responsibilities. Even as they go from “No one” to “Someone”.

Within every No is that Some.
