Shri Nara Lokesh, Hon’ble Minister of Information Technology, Electronics and Communications, Real Time Governance and Human Resources Development, Government of Andhra Pradesh, in conversation with Mr. Brij Bhushan Agarwal, President; Mr. Parthiv Neotia, Senior Vice President; Mr. Keshav Bhajanka, Vice President; Dr. Rajeev Singh, Director General; Mr. Bijay Agarwal, Executive Committee Member, Indian Chamber of Commerce, on Investment Opportunities in Andhra Pradesh, organised by Indian Chamber of Commerce, in Kolkata.
He delivered an insightful address highlighting the diverse industrial opportunities emerging in Andhra Pradesh. He spoke at length about the state’s growing potential in sectors such as information technology, artificial intelligence, and automobile manufacturing, while also acknowledging other promising areas that can drive economic growth and innovation. His remarks underscored the importance of harnessing these opportunities not only for regional development but also for strengthening India’s overall industrial landscape.
Equally significant was his emphasis on fostering collaboration between the governments of West Bengal and Andhra Pradesh. He envisioned a framework where both states could pool their strengths, share expertise, and jointly contribute to the realisation of Viksit Bharat 2047 — a national mission aimed at building a developed and self-reliant India.
This collaborative spirit, he noted, would be guided and inspired by the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, whose call for inclusive growth and innovation continues to shape India’s developmental journey.
