Advanced slope stabilization and erosion control in progress ⛰️🌱

Nextgen Innovative Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is currently executing an integrated slope mitigation and erosion control system for a critical railway infrastructure project.

The ongoing scope includes:

✔ Installation of 32 mm dia Geotechnical Bars as Soil Nail / SN Bolt for structural reinforcement, having 670 MPa yield strength and 800 MPa ultimate tensile strength, installed with galvanized nail plates, dome-shaped nuts, couplers, and cement grouting to enhance deep slope stability

✔ High tensile strength steel wire mesh with mechanically woven wire ropes for slope protection, featuring:
• Mesh opening: 50 mm × 80 mm (max.)
• Wire tensile strength: min. 350 N/sq.mm
• Rope tensile strength: min. 1770 N/sq.mm
• System tensile strength: 157 kN/m lateral & 170 kN/m longitudinal
• Punch resistance: 140 kN
• Zn-Al Class A corrosion protection (>245 g/sq.m)

✔ 3D reinforced geosynthetic erosion control mat / geo mesh, made of polypropylene fibre as per IRC: 56-2011, with:
• Minimum mass: 500 gsm (Section 700 compliant)
• Aperture size: 100 mm × 80 mm
• Zinc-coated steel wire: EN 10244-2, Class A
• Combined mat mass: approx. 1680 gsm (±5%)
• Designed for surface retention, anti-erosion protection, and vegetation support

✔ Hydraulic application of HP-FGM & BSM to improve moisture retention, soil binding, and rapid vegetation growth

✔ Aqua-pHix soil amendment for pH optimization in challenging soil conditions such as fly ash and red mud areas

✔ U-pin anchorage at 1 m c/c spacing for secure long-term system performance

This integrated geotechnical and bio-engineering solution is being executed to ensure slope stability, erosion resistance, and sustainable green restoration.
