L&T Metallurgical and Material Handling, in association with The institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), UK, held a program on the ‘The Success of ISRO Projects’, facilitated by Mr. N.K. Gupta, Retd. Director of ISRO.
Mr. Gupta largely worked in the area of Liquid Rocket Engines that have successfully flown in the PSLV and GSLV launch Vehicles of ISRO including Chandrayan & Mangalyan Missions of ISRO.
The programme highlighted ISRO’s contribution to the nation’s growth through successful implementation of various projects like SLV, PSLV, GSLV, Chandrayaan, et al and the contributions made by Mr. Vikram Sarabhai, Mr. Abdul Kalam and Mr. Satish Dhawan on the development of ISRO, which enabled engineers to understand the technical aspects related to the development of launch vehicles and other ISRO projects.
