We are very proud to announce that the Society for Makers, Artists, Researchers, and Technologists, (SMART) USA presents IEMATICS -----Eighth Online International Mathematics Olympiad sponsored by the Institute of Engineering & Management (IEM) in association with Department of Basic Science and Humanities, IEM, Kolkata and Society for Data Science (S4DS) IEM Student Chapter.

Students and Mathematics lovers from different spheres are cordially welcomed.

Event date:1st November, 2025

The online portal will open from 07:00 pm IST on 1st November and will close at 10:00 pm IST on 1st November.

Participation is free of cost.

Participants need to register through the registration link prior to the contest and they need to participate in the contest through the contest link, provided in the website during the contest on 1st November, 2025.

Prizes worth 300 USD to be given to the top 3 participants along with a certificate of excellence and from the remaining number of contestants those who solve at least three questions will get a certificate of merit. There is no separate participation certificate.

On their page, the Ukrainian Physics and Mathematics Lyceum of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Ukraine, highly praised and expressed their appreciation for IEMATICS, the fifth Online International Mathematics Olympiad organized by SMART SOCIETY, USA and co sponsored by Institute of Engineering & Management (IEM) which was held on 15th October 2022. 🌍 Змагаємось усім світом! 🌏

💻 15 жовтня 2022 року на платформі Codechef була проведена 5 Міжнародна онлайн-олімпіада з математики IEMATICS, організована за підтримки Society for Makers, Artists, Researchers and Technologists (SMART Society), США, Інститутом інженерії та менеджменту (Institute of Engineering & Management (IEM), Kolkata), Індія, та Спілкою наук про дані (Society for Data Science), Індія.

🛎 До участі в олімпіаді запрошувались старшокласники з усього світу, здатні розв'язувати задачі рівня міжнародних математичних олімпіад і турнірів. Учасникам потрібно було за три години розв'язати шість задач і надіслати відповіді до них через систему Codechef. При цьому умова кожної наступної задачі відкривалась лише якщо відповідь на попередню була правильною. Рейтинг учасників визначала не лише кількість правильних відповідей, а й (за рівної кількості) час, за який вони впорались із завданнями.

🏆 Вітаємо одинадцятикласників Нікіту Арського (11-А клас) і Михайла Панасюка (11-В клас) із отриманням Почесних грамот цієї олімпіади. Нікіта розв'язав правильно усі шість задач і посів 13 рядок у світовому рейтингу, а Михайло впорався із чотирма завданнями і зрештою опинився на 20 місці!

🎯 Пишаємось результатами двох наших восьмикласників - Остапа Гіщака і Микити Теличка (8-В клас), які успішно розв'язали по дві задачі та опинились на 40-41 позиціях світового рейтингу!

💡 Бажаємо нашим юним олімпіадникам невичерпної енергії та натхнення у вивченні математики! Нехай нові цікаві задачі знаходять не менш цікаві й оригінальні розв'язання, а нові змагання обертаються новими перемогами!

💐 Дякуємо організаторам олімпіади, вчителям і тренерам, які зацікавлюють учнів до вивчення математики та участі у різноманітних змаганнях!

*IEMATICS*, the fifth online International Mathematics Olympiad organized by *SMART SOCIETY, USA* and jointly sponsored by *Institute of Engineering & Management (IEM)* in association with *Department of Basic Science and Humanities, IEM, Society for Data Science (S4DS) IEM student chapter and Codechef* was successfully held on *15th October, 2022* from *6 PM to 9 PM (IST)* on *Codechef platform.*
With contenders from all over the world, it was a really thrilling and hard-fought competition. IEMATICS was attended by *20 countries*, including India. Almost every prominent institute in India participated, including *IIT, NIT, IISER, ISI, Chennai Mathematical Institute, BITS Pilani, JU* and others. Industry was well represented, with businesses such as *Google, Oracle, Adobe, TCS, Infosys*, to name a few. There was also strong participation from some well-known schools from West Bengal and India.

*Austria, Bangladesh, Canada, China, Cuba, Dominican Republic, India, Italy, Indonesia, Nepal, Nigeria, Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Vietnam and United Kingdom*
