Arul Packaging Industries a leading packaging companyin South India was established in the year 1983 by Dr. Roberts Kirubhakaran, a technocrat in printing technology. His knowledge in printing and packaging has been widened dramatically by the exposure to the various printing and packaging exhibitions conducted all over the world. He has taken efforts to visit the internationally renowned companies in Japan, Korea Germany, Switzerland, England, Canada and the United States of America. In the year 1983, Arul Packaging Industries had a humble beginning with a 3 colour Rotogravure Printing and Slitting machine and catered to the Pharmaceutical, Supari and Confectionary Industries. As laminated products were introduced into the market during the years 1988-89, Arul Packaging Industries immediately purchased a 6 colour Rotogravure printing machine, a laminating machine and a slitting machine to provide the latest technology to its customers. New industries dealing with spices,oils, tooth powders, talcum powders, nuts, shampoos, creams ,seafoods, etc., were added to its clientele. The company which has now grown leaps and bounds is still keen on watching the upgradation in the field and procures new products to give a premium and most satisfying products to its customers. In the millenium year when zipper and standup pouches were introduced the company immediately purchased a centre seal pouch machine and a standup pouch machine with zipper facilities to add to its list of machinery.To make the printing and packaging more perfect a 8 colour printing machine has also been purchased and has plans to add more as and when new machines are introduced.
