NCL industries Ltd was established in the year 1980 during the spurt of entrepreneurial activity in Telangana of the early 1980s. NCL Industries’ first venture was in a cement plant at Mattapalli in Nalgonda district which turned out to be a stupendous success. NCL commenced production of cement under the brand name Nagarjuna and established a premium brand image particularly in the coastal distri
cts of Andhra Pradesh. In the early 90s, NCL diversified its product offerings by commissioning a particle board factory near its cement plant. The particle boards were of cement bonded type and sold under the brand name Bison Panel which are manufactured in technical collaboration with Bison Werke of Germany who were world leaders in particle board technology. At present, NCL industries is divided into the following divisions based on its product offerings :-
Cement division which manufactures Nagarjuna cement in various grades
RMC division which manufactures ready mix concrete under the brand name Nagarjuna RMC
Boards division which manufactures cement bonded particle boards under the brand name Bison Panel
Prefab division which manufactures and supplies prefabricated shelters under the brand name NCL Prefab Shelters. The latest turnover of NCL industries is approximately INR 1000 crores.NCL industries is also a member of the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) under the category manufacturing/product suppliers. NCL continues to remain committed to ongoing innovations and diversification in the industry of construction material manufacturing.
