JOB DESCRIPTION FOR OPERATIONS HEAD
Monitoring all operations : Operations managers supervise and direct the organisation’s operational procedures to ensure they function smoothly and effectively
Budget Management: Operations managers oversee the organisation’s operational budgets to ensure that the resources are utilised efficiently
Managing the workforce: Operations managers are accountable for managing and supervising the work of their overall team including back office as well as the Sales Team, which includes allocating assignments, establishing due dates, and keeping track of performance
Risk Assessment and Management: To recognise potential risks and implement preventive measures to reduce them
Should be well versed with Excel/Power point/ and google workspace (preparing charts and analytical reports and present the same to the management.)
Strong leadership and management skills, able to motivate and lead teams
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, able to think critically and come up with creative solutions
Good communication skills, both verbally and in writing, able to present information to groups and answer inquiries
Ability to work with large amounts of data and financial information, with strong mathematical and analytical skills
Knowledge of process improvement techniques and a history of successfully implementing them
Candidate with experience in Aquaculture will be an added advantage.
