Safety First. Safety Must. Prepared to act, trained to react.

A joint state-level mock drill with BPCL and NDMA put emergency readiness to the test at BPCL Budge Budge.

All response teams came together in sync, with firefighting, rescue, medical and traffic support coordinated alongside NDRF, Indian Red Cross Society, RTO, local police and other agencies.

With the simulated fire extinguished, no leakage or LEL detected, and restoration underway, the exercise put coordinated preparedness into action; keeping us ready for what matters most.

How much water does ethanol really use?
The answer needs more context than a single number.

Ethanol plants use processed water, while modern distilleries can adopt Zero Liquid Discharge systems. For feedstock, only surplus rice that can be diverted after meeting food-security requirements is used.

The water footprint of ethanol depends on both feedstock sourcing and water management during production.
