We recently hosted “Flamingos by the Bay” at the Coastal & Marine Biodiversity Centre, Airoli, as a part of the Navi Mumbai Plastic & E-Waste Recyclothon initiative by our partners and . This event brought 50 tenant employees from Mindspace Business Parks REIT and employees of K Raheja Corp together for a guided walkthrough of mangrove trails and a serene boat ride across Thane Creek. Witnessing flamingos transition to their vibrant pink shades during breeding season was a powerful reminder of the delicate beauty thriving just across our urban landscape.

The experience offered a sobering look at how urban waste travels, often settling in these fragile habitats. Seeing the direct impact of our footprint firsthand reinforced a vital truth: what we discard never truly disappears; it merely migrates into ecosystems that depend on our protection.
