Accurate Manufacturing Starts with Accurate Weight Calculations.

A wrong weight calculation can impact everything material procurement, machining time, costing, and delivery schedules.

That's why we built the Amarex Weight Calculator.

Designed for engineers, procurement teams, and manufacturers, it helps calculate metal part weights instantly based on shape, size, material, and quantity, eliminating errors and saving valuable planning time.

No software. No modelling. Just faster, smarter decisions.

Try the calculator and make every estimate count.

Your component passed inspection today. Will it survive the environment it ships into?

Corrosion is one of the most common and most avoidable causes of industrial part failure. A part can hit every dimension on the drawing and still fail early if the material isn't matched to where it operates.

The conditions that drive failure are specific:
-Chlorides (marine, coastal, washdown) pit standard stainless which is why 316/316L gets specified over 304 near salt water

-Dezincification attacks high-zinc brasses in aggressive water; DZR or naval brass (C46400/C48600) resists it

-Galvanic coupling between dissimilar metals corrodes the joint, not the surface
Material selection isn't a default it's matched to the service condition. The right grade and finish cut maintenance, prevent early replacement, and keep the part in service longer.

Good machining produces the part. The right material is what keeps it running.

Short lead times only matter if the parts pass inspection.

Rushing a job doesn't save time it moves the cost downstream into rework, scrapped material, out-of-tolerance dimensions, and a delivery date that slips anyway. A rejected lot costs far more than the day you "saved" cutting it fast.

At Amarex, speed comes from process discipline, not from cutting corners:

-First-article inspection before the run, so a tooling or offset error gets caught on part one, not part 500

-Tolerances held to drawing including tight fits like ∅70 r6 and verified, not eyeballed.

-Locked-in speeds, feeds, and tool-change intervals so the 1,000th part measures the same as the first.

-Material traceability and finish specs (HDG, passivation, plating) confirmed against the spec sheet, not assumed.

Getting it right the first time is the fast route. Everything that goes wrong after the part leaves the machine costs more than doing it properly on the floor.

Fast machining is impressive. Accurate machining is profitable

Everyone wants shorter lead times.

But when speed affects accuracy, the cost shows up in later rework, rejected parts, missed tolerances, and production delays.

That's why machining isn't just about how fast a part is made. It's about making it right the first time.

At Amarex, we focus on both speed and precision. Every part is machined to meet the required dimensions, tolerances, and finish without compromising quality.

Because the fastest way to complete a job isn't rushing through it.
It's avoiding mistakes that slow everything down later.

The smallest manufacturing details create the biggest performance difference.

-Wrong material selection = early failure
-Weak assemblies = unreliable products
-Poor surface finish = reduced durability

At Amarex Metals, precision is built into every process because industrial performance starts long before the final product is delivered.

A component can meet every dimension on paper and still fail in performance.

That’s the importance of surface finish in CNC machining.

Surface roughness, commonly measured in Ra values, directly affects how a component performs in real-world applications. From friction and wear resistance to sealing capability and corrosion protection, the right finish can significantly improve product life and functionality.

Lower Ra values deliver smoother finishes ideal for precision assemblies, medical parts, and high-performance industrial applications. Higher Ra values may be suitable for components where grip, coating adhesion, or cost-efficiency matter more than aesthetics.

Choosing the correct finishing option whether polishing, anodizing, bead blasting, or plating depends on both functional and operational requirements.

At Amarex Metals, precision goes beyond dimensions. Every machined component is engineered with the right surface finish to ensure durability, consistency, and long-term performance.

That new supplier saved you 8% on unit price. But what did the switch actually cost you?

Every time you change suppliers, hidden costs accompany the transition, retraining your team, updating systems, and managing quality issues during the changeover. In precision machining, those quality issues don't show up in a spreadsheet. They show up on your production line.

Think about what a supplier switch actually involves:

Re-approving materials and tolerances, Re-running first article inspections, Rebuilding communication rhythms, Absorbing early-batch rejection rates
A long-term supplier already knows your drawings. Your finish requirements. Your packaging preferences. Your deadlines. That institutional knowledge has real value, and it quietly disappears the moment you switch.

The cheapest quote isn't always the cheapest decision.

At Amarex Metals, our longest relationships aren't contracts, they're conversations that started years ago and never needed to stop.

Because the best supplier isn't the one who wins your first order. It's the one who earns your next one.

The numbers don't lie. And right now, they're all pointing at India.

India's precision machining market generated $6.5 billion in 2025 and is projected to reach $16.6 billion by 2033, growing at a CAGR of 12.4%. That's not incremental growth. That's a structural shift.

So what's driving it?

Automotive is leading the charge. Auto component exports are set to grow by 7–9% from FY24–29, propelling the precision machining market to a 12% CAGR. CNC machines now account for around 85% of machine tools industry output.

Make in India and Production Linked Incentive schemes are drawing significant domestic and foreign investment into precision manufacturing, making India not just competitive, but strategically essential for global supply chains.

The window for global buyers to lock in reliable Indian manufacturing partners is open. But it won't stay open forever.

At Amarex Metals, global buyers don't just source from us, they build with us. Because when a market is growing this fast, you need a partner who's already proven, not one still finding their feet. Don't just watch India grow. Grow with it.
