IEEE R10 Today Newsletter October Edition published “Artificial Intelligence Day 2018 Celebration by IEEE Student Branch of SAKEC”

“On 1st September 2018, IEEE SAKEC in association with Aegis School of Data Science celebrated Artificial Intelligence Day. The session was an initiative to create awareness about Artificial Intelligence. 8 proficient speakers, with a genuine approach to present AI and its necessities were present. Dr. Abhijit Gangopadhyay, Dean, Aegis School of Data Science gave a keynote session on AI.”

IEEE Bombay Section & IEEE SAKEC will be conducting TEACHER IN SERVICE PROGRAM (TISP) at Chogale High School, Borivali, Mumbai today. The program will guide the teachers on how they can make their teaching innovative and effective. They will be taught how to Mathematics and Science subject simple for students by preparing some models. Also there will be a lesson plan activity.

A funding of $250 was approved by IEEE EAB for this program.

Help Kerala Campaign

IEEE SAKEC conducted a Help Kerala Campaign on 20th and 21st August in SAKEC.

Several necessary relief materials were collected and submitted to the Kerala House collection center. The materials will be transported to Kerala by the government officials.

No act of kindness, however small, is ever wasted!
Everyone from our students, professors and non-teaching staff members helped us and contributed in this initiative in large numbers.

IEEE SAKEC thanks each and everyone for their contribution.
