At the Global Energy Leaders Summit 2026, Ravi Sinha, DGM – BD & Regulatory Affairs, represented Mahindra Susten in conversations around the realities of scaling India’s energy transition.

During the discussion, he highlighted some of the sector’s most pressing ex*****on challenges: land acquisition complexities, transmission readiness, financing constraints, and evolving policy frameworks. Speaking about reducing curtailment, improving grid stability, and enabling renewable energy, he mentioned the growing importance of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) as it is more reliable and dispatchable. 

While exploring the future of Waste-to-Energy projects, Ravi emphasised the need to view such facilities as critical waste management infrastructure that have long-term social and environmental value, backed by stronger policy and tariff support.

This discussion reinforced a larger industry shift: the future of clean energy will depend not only on increasing renewable energy capacity but also on building the right infrastructure, storage capabilities, and policy support systems that can make sustainable power dependable at scale.

Quality is easy to claim. Hard to build into every layer of a business.

At Mahindra Susten, it starts before a single material reaches the site, with factory inspections, rigorous vendor assessments and stage-by-stage product checks.

It runs through every design output, every engineering decision, every procurement call. And it doesn't stop at the office, our Field Quality team trains subcontractor teams on site to make sure the standard doesn't slip when the pressure is highest. From IMS audits across every function to the final commissioning check, quality at Mahindra Susten isn't a sign-off at the end.

Every child is naturally curious. They ask questions, take things apart, and try to understand how the world around them works. That curiosity deserves the chance to grow.

Through our CSR initiative, we set up a STEM lab at a primary school in Rajasthan — creating a space where students can explore science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics through hands-on learning and discovery.

We encouraged young minds to imagine, experiment, and learn with confidence.

Because where a child grows up should never decide how far they can go.

Sometimes, all it takes is the right environment to turn curiosity into confidence, and potential into progress.
