4 days of hardwork by the MeraUjala installation and engineering team in knee deep monsoon water and the ground mounted array was ready to power the residential estate in Awas, Alibaug. The commissioned system will now run the home and all its electrical Loads on solar energy plus battery storage in hybrid mode. On an annual basis, the home will be NET ZERO ENERGY!!

The first of many ground mounted solar energy solutions we are embarking on in Alibaug where MSEB utility power is highly unreliable and also expensive.

Team M-Ujala began construction on its first ground mounted solar array in Awas Beach in Alibuag district this week. When completed in a few weeks, this residential estate will be NET ZERO ENERGY!! Also having a hybrid inverter(s) option with sufficient energy storage using solar maintenance-free gel deep cycle batteries, the existing diesel generator on-site will be rarely or never used.

We really need more initiatives like this from engaged and motivated homeowners that want to make a difference to our environment while simultaneously saving money on their utility bills and diesel costs for their gensets. A great way to end the World Environment Day week!!
