"The difference of copper filter and copper filter drier.
I, Copper Filter
Filter is an air conditioning piping system to filter impurities in the components. Its installation location is mainly in the unit of electronic expansion valve or capillary tube before and after the two sides, the purpose is to prevent impurities in the system to block the electronic expansion valve, resulting in electronic expansion valve failure.
Impurities in the system mainly refers to the installation process, pipeline welding nitrogen filling irregularities caused by oxidized skin or some other solid impurities, but also the compressor due to long-term use, the inevitable mechanical wear and tear of some of the metal powder.
When the system is less impurities, the filter can effectively play a protective role in filtration, but if the system is too much oxidized skin (such as welding without nitrogen charging), these impurities will be completely blocked to the filter, resulting in system failure, or even due to blockage of the compressor oil return is bad, burned the compressor.
2, copper filter drier
Filter drier is used to absorb water in the system, filter out impurities in the system to prevent the refrigeration system pipeline ice blockage and dirty blockage.
As the system is most likely to be clogged parts of the indoor machine electronic expansion valve and capillary tube, the filter drier is usually installed between the condenser and the throttle device.
The shell of the filter drier is molded by copper tube, and it is equipped with metal wire or porous metal plate, which can effectively filter the impurities. The filter drier uses molecular sieve as desiccant to absorb water in the refrigerant. The desiccant should be replaced when it is seriously blocked by too much water absorption or by impurities.
