"First off, let's talk packaging. The Formovie Episode One comes in a sleek, minimalistic box. It’s compact, but you can already tell it’s packed with quality. Let’s open it up!" The Episode One gives off a modern vibe with flowing lines and rounded corners to soften its cube-like shape. The grey colored body feels tough enough for outdoor use and features love those intricate details in orange — body edges, logo placeholder, decals, speaker grilles and air vents add a sporty feel. it weighs at just 1.25 kilograms making it incredibly portable. The projector can be mounted on a camera tripod or placed on a tabletop.
The projector can automatically adjust the keystone and focus whenever you power it on or move it from its original position. The Xming Episode One can project images from 40 inches to up to 120 inches. However, at 120 inches, the image isn’t as sharp as they are around 100 inches, which feels like the sweet spot for this device.
The prominent lens takes up the front and is backed up by a smaller autofocus and auto keystone module, which makes setup easier. The front panel also has a depth sensor for adjusting the autofocus
Sound is provided by the 3W Dolby Audio-compatible speakers located on the left and right sides. All the connectivity ports, including HDMI 2.1 port, USB type A port, 3.5mm audio and power input jack for attaching speakers or headphones are located at the back of the projector and are easily accessible. The power button sits flush with the body on the top.
You can also use the Google Home application if you’re an iOS user.
Dual-band Wi-Fi is standard for connecting to the internet and streaming services, and pairing with your phone is easy with Bluetooth 5.0. The Episode One ships with 16GB of internal storage and 2GB of RAM. This allows you to download multiple apps or content for offline viewing. The 2GB RAM is ideal for most scenarios, and the UI navigation feels smooth.
