From the Archives | Pali Hill, Mumbai

Completed in 2011, this private terrace pool was designed for a residence in Pali Hill, Mumbai.

The challenge was to transform a compact rooftop into a functional outdoor retreat without compromising on clean design, circulation or long-term performance.

The project features a concealed overflow system, timber decking and a Waterco filtration system with Waterco pumps, selected for dependable operation and ease of maintenance.

More than a decade later, the pool continues to perform as intended—a testament to the value of thoughtful engineering, quality equipment and attention to detail.

At Kal Envirotek, we've always believed that a swimming pool is more than a finished product.

Completed in 2017, this project continues to perform exactly as intended.

More than just a swimming pool, this residence was envisioned as a complete outdoor retreat—bringing together a concealed overflow edge, an integrated Hungarian-made hot tub, lush tropical landscaping, and a hidden plant room engineered for long-term serviceability.

Nearly a decade later:
•The water sits perfectly level.
•The hydraulic systems perform quietly.
•The space remains as timeless as the day of handover.

Some projects remind us why thoughtful engineering stands the test of time.

Completed in 2008, this resort-style pool in Lonavala brought together a freeform swimming pool, concealed overflow system, premium filtration, underwater lighting, an integrated hot tub, and one of our early installations of copper-silver ionization and pool heat pumps.

The best part? All of the core systems are still performing today.

We believe a well-engineered pool isn't just designed for the day it's completed—it's designed to perform for years to come.

Luxury pool water shouldn't just look crystal clear. It should feel different too.

For over 20 years, we've been installing Copper & Silver Ionization Systems for luxury residential and hospitality pools across India.

Every beautiful pool is supported by engineering you never see.

A luxury residential pool delivered in Guwahati, engineered and executed by our Mumbai-based team.

For this project, our scope was the complete pool MEP system—designing and executing the circulation, filtration, hydraulics and water features to ensure the pool performs as beautifully as it looks.

An added feature was the installation of an ionizer and ozonator for alternate purification to reduce the dependency on chlorine.

The continuous wall spouts were integrated to introduce movement, sound and a sense of calm, bringing life to an otherwise still body of water.

Luxury isn't just about finishes.

This project in Shillong challenged us to think beyond aesthetics and design a pool that felt connected to both the site and the family it was built for.

One of its most distinctive features is the custom family crest, recreated using European glass mosaics and integrated into the pool design.

From engineering and construction to mosaic detailing, every decision was made with long-term performance and personalization in mind.
