Refex Energy Limited has commissioned a 109 MW Solar PV Power plant on 6th Aug.’ 2019, in Ramanathapuram district in Tamil Nadu. Earlier, the Company had commissioned a 50 MW Solar PV Power plant at same location, in Oct.’ 2018. Both the plants are operational and are feeding green energy to TN grid, resulting in to annual saving of over 1.56 lakh Metric Tonne of Coal in thermal power plants.
The scope of Refex Energy in the project ex*****on was broadly - land procurement, EPC ex*****on and grid connectivity. Refex will also undertake the O&M services for these projects for total duration of 16 years. The work has been performed against two orders placed by reputed CPSU, NLC India Ltd. for 50 MW Solar plant and 209 MW Solar plant. The solar PV plant of balance capacity of 100 MW is at advanced stage of ex*****on in Tuticorin district in TN and is likely to be commissioned in Aug.’ 2019 itself.
