APAR delivered 132 kV reconductoring project across Bihar for Bihar State Power Transmission Company Limited (BSPTCL)—strengthening the grid and helping reduce outage risks for millions.

The scale was matched by the complexity. The work navigated challenging terrain, railway and highway crossings, river spans, seasonal flooding and stringent shutdown requirements on critical transmission lines.

Delivering at this pace, under these conditions, called for precision, coordination and engineering expertise—while working within the footprint of existing transmission infrastructure.

Every landmark has a story. And every story has many contributors. The Chenab Rail Bridge is one of the most critical elements of the Udhampur–Srinagar–Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) Project.

Beyond its scale and design lies a complex interplay of engineering expertise, specialised solutions and collaboration.

As part of this journey, APAR supplied 150 sq. mm CCCR Contact Wire, complying with RDSO specifications, contributing to the electrification infrastructure of the rail link.

This contribution reflects APAR’s leadership in railway electrification, as India’s largest RDSO approved manufacturer of Copper Overhead (OHE) conductors and an approved Indian vendor supplying to the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Project.
