Our Client in Oman is looking for motivated and experienced Area Maintenance Planners to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities for stationary equipment within a designated area of the refinery. This includes developing detailed maintenance plans, coordinating with various stakeholders, and utilizing SAP PM and MM modules to optimize maintenance operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance Planning:
Develop comprehensive maintenance plans for stationary equipment, including preventive maintenance (PM) tasks, corrective maintenance (CM) work orders, and turnaround activities.
Analyze equipment history, failure patterns, and maintenance records to identify potential issues and optimize maintenance schedules.
Estimate labor hours, material requirements, and spare parts needed for each maintenance task.
Create detailed work instructions and procedures for maintenance technicians.
SAP PM & MM:
Utilize SAP PM and MM modules to effectively manage maintenance planning, scheduling, and ex*****on.
Create and maintain equipment master data, functional locations, and maintenance plans in SAP.
Generate work orders, issue purchase requisitions, and track material procurement and inventory.
Monitor maintenance KPIs and generate reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
Coordination and Collaboration:
Collaborate with maintenance technicians, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective planning and ex*****on of maintenance activities.
Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely procurement of spare parts and materials.
Liaise with operations personnel to schedule maintenance activities during planned shutdowns or outages.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for improvement in maintenance processes, procedures, and equipment reliability.
Implement initiatives to optimize maintenance schedules, reduce downtime, and improve overall equipment performance.
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to maintenance planning and scheduling.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in maintenance planning and scheduling, preferably in a refinery or similar industrial setting.
Proven expertise in SAP PM and MM modules.
Strong understanding of maintenance best practices, including reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) and predictive maintenance.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
