Neev is a technical extravaganza organized by the Civil Department of Shree Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management every year with an aim to provide a platform for civil engineering students to enhance their technical skills and to bridge the gap between classroom teaching and practical applications. The advancement in the construction industry has opened up many new business avenues for
civil engineering fraternity. The aim of this year’s NEEV is to make civil engineering students aware of all such opportunities, and to fulfill this we are conducting six technical events and an entrepreneurship awareness workshop. The entrepreneurship awareness workshop will include project profiles on emerging areas like new construction materials and chemicals, water proofing and seepage control, road safety signets, interior decoration, rehabilitation of structures, building demolishing etc. which will be presented by experts from respective industries. Along with workshop the three day program also includes technical competitions like AutoCAD, Lay outing, Technical quiz, Tendering etc. and cultural program in the evening to make the whole event livelier. The students from all over India have always been affiliated with NEEV. In NEEV12 more than 1000 students from different states like Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra etc. enthusiastically participated in various events and in workshop. Various eminent personalities like Dr. Ramlu More, Architect Mr. Tayde guided students in their respective fields. The committee of NEEV has always maintained the legacy of making it better and bigger every time and we want each one of you to be a part of NEEV14.
