Although UAVs have vast list of usage in the services sector, our Primary expertise is in Mapping, Survey, Inspections and Precision Agriculture. Advancing water resource management with Sigma100—Indrones’ DGCA Type Certified LiDAR drone. 🇮🇳

Under the OCCL MI Tank project in Odisha, Sigma100 is enabling drone-based LiDAR surveys to support the Department of Water Resources with precise terrain data for desilting activities and water infrastructure planning.

On 12–13 October 2026, our team presented these capabilities at Jaurnia Reservoir to representatives of the World Bank, OCCL, and delegations from the Water Resources and Agriculture Departments.

It showcased our end-to-end survey workflow—from field data acquisition and ground control to LiDAR processing, quality assurance, and accuracy validation.

A field can look healthy and green while early crop stress is already developing beneath the canopy.

With its five-band multispectral sensor, the Indrones Sigma25G captures Red Edge and Near-Infrared reflectance to identify changes in chlorophyll before stress becomes visible. The system generates detailed NDVI and NDRE maps, helping agronomists locate crop stress at a highly granular level.

In dense canopies, NDRE can provide greater sensitivity than NDVI because the red-edge band remains responsive when standard NDVI begins to saturate. This helps teams detect developing stress earlier and take timely, targeted action.
