When a reputed commercial laundry brand decided to set up their new setup in Tamil Nadu, they had a clear challenge - to build a space that could process five tonnes of laundry per shift for clients across hospitality, retail & pharmaceutical sectors, each with very specific requirements.

They approached Stefab to help them create a setup that was efficient, flexible & future-ready.

Our team designed an end-to-end turnkey solution, where the entire facility runs on Stefab machines including Washer Extractors, Dryers, Ironers, Feeders, Folders and stacker- all carefully planned to optimize workflow and performance.

Because the client also caters to pharmaceutical clients with distinct hygiene needs, the layout was designed smartly, with one setup dedicated exclusively to pharmaceutical laundry and another for hotel and retail clients.

This thoughtful separation within the same space allows them to handle different client requirements seamlessly proving how the right planning and engineering can make operations smarter and more efficient.

Today, the facility is up & running, delivering consistent quality and smooth operations every day.

For over 13 years, a premium hospital in Pune has trusted Stefab to power its on-premise laundry - a true testament to reliability and service.

What began with conventional washers and hydro-extractors has evolved into a complete laundry system which includes barrier washers, automatic dryers and chest ironers.

With Stefab’s installation, the hospital overcame operational challenges and streamlined processes, ensuring every linen from wash to press is handled with efficiency.

Today, the facility operates 8–10 hours a day, processing up to two tons of linen daily, managed smoothly by a dedicated team of 25.

The entire plant runs on electricity, and the two-roll, 830 dia chest-heated ironer is a plug and play solution, consuming only 140 units per hour while drying and ironing up to 700 single bedsheets in 60 minutes. Not just efficient, it’s a robust solution to challenges faced by healthcare facilities worldwide.

Stefab’s long-lasting machines and responsive service have not only supported their mission of dependable, high-quality care but also transformed laundry operations into a seamless, problem-free system.
