Minda Vietnam had the honour and privilege of hosting the Indian Ambassador to Vietnam, Mr. Tshering W. Sherpa, at its manufacturing facility. During the visit, the leadership team showcased the plant’s manufacturing capabilities, operational excellence, future business plans, and strong customer base. The visit reflected Minda Vietnam’s commitment towards quality, innovation, and sustainable business growth in the region.

Mr. Sherpa interacted with Plant Head Bineet Porwal, Business Head Brij Mohan Sharma, Marketing Head Uday Pratap, along with all HODs and key team members. Detailed discussions were held on manufacturing excellence, future expansion opportunities, customer expectations, localization initiatives, and strengthening industrial and business relations between India and Vietnam.

As Chairperson of ACMA's Supply Chain & Raw Materials Committee, Mr Aakash Minda, our Executive Director, delivered the welcome address at ACMA's National Conference titled "Integrating SMEs to Drive Success in the Global Automotive Value Chain." Distinguished delegates included Dr S Kushvendra Kumar, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Government of India; Mr Vikrampati Singhania, President, ACMA; Mr Hemal Thakkar, Senior Director & Senior Practice Leader, CRISIL; Mr Vinnie Mehta, Director General, ACMA; and other leaders from the automotive ecosystem.

Mr Minda emphasised that Indian SMEs must evolve from being mere component makers to becoming dependable partners — prepared to meet the demands of scale, quality consistency, technology adoption, compliance readiness, sustainability, financial resilience, and faster response cycles.
