Alternate Feed:
The process fluid enters the pipeline from the left side.
Alternate Outlet:
The fluid exits the pipeline on the right side.
Control Valve:
Located in the lower bypass line, it automatically regulates the flow rate, pressure, or process conditions.
Bypass Valve (Normally Closed - NC):
Installed on the main line. It remains closed during normal operation and is opened only when the control valve is out of service.
Isolating Ball Valves:
Installed on both sides of the control valve to isolate it for maintenance.
Drain Valves (D):
Used to drain any trapped fluid from the isolated section before maintenance.
Pressure Indicator (PI):
Measures and displays the pressure in the pipeline.
Check Clearance:
Indicates the minimum vertical space required above the control valve actuator for safe operation and maintenance.
