Job Description:
We are looking for a qualified and experienced professional with hands-on exposure to Sodium Silicate and Potassium Silicate operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Handling and processing of Sodium Silicate & Potassium Silicate
Monitoring production and quality parameters
Ensuring safety, storage, and statutory compliance
Coordination with plant and quality teams

Requirements:
Relevant qualification in Chemical / Production / Process Engineering
Experience in silicate-based industries preferred
Knowledge of safety and quality standards

Location: Thoothukkudi

இந்திய தொழில்களை பாதுகாக்க மத்திய அரசு சீன இறக்குமதிக்கு தடை விதிக்க வேண்டும் அல்லது இறக்குமதி வரியை கூட்ட வேண்டும் என்று இந்திய டைட்டானியம் டை ஆக்சைடு உற்பத்தியாளர் சங்கத் தலைவர் பொன்சேகர் கோரிக்கை வைத்துள்ளார்.

அவர் மத்திய அரசுக்கு அனுப்பியுள்ள மனுவில் கூறியிருப்பதாவது :-

“இந்தியாவில் டைட்டானியம் டை ஆக்சைடு உற்பத்தி செய்யும் தொழிற்சாலைகள் அரசு மற்றும் தனியார் என மிகக் குறைந்த அளவிலேயே உள்ளன. தமிழ்நாட்டில் இரண்டு, கேரளாவில் இரண்டு, கொல்கத்தாவில் ஒன்று என 6 தொழிற்சாலைகள் மட்டுமே உள்ளன.

தற்போது ஒரிசாவில் ஒரு டைட்டானியம் தொழிற்சாலையை இந்திய அரசு நிறுவனமான ஐஆர்இஎல் நிறுவ முயற்சி செய்து வருகிறது. டைட்டானியம் மூலப்பொருள் இல்மனைட், டைட்டானியம் டை ஆக்சைடு ஆனது பேப்பர், பெயிண்ட், ரப்பர், பிளாஸ்டிக், அழகு சாதன பொருட்கள் உட்பட ஏராளமான இடங்களில் மூலப்பொருளாக உபயோகப்படுத்தப்பட்டு வருகிறது.

டைட்டானியம் டை ஆக்சைடு கான இந்தியாவின் ஆண்டு தேவை 350000 மெட்ரிக் டன் ஆகும். ஆனால் இந்தியாவின் உற்பத்தி வெறும் 50 ஆயிரம் டன் மட்டுமே. இந்தியாவின் டைட்டானியம் தேவைக்கு வெளிநாட்டு நிறுவனங்களை நம்பி இருக்கும் நிலை உள்ளது. மூலப்பொருள் இந்தியாவில் தற்போது கிடைக்காததாலும், சீனா இறக்குமதி ஏராளமாக இந்தியாவிற்கு வருவதாலும் போட்டியை சமாளிக்க முடியாமல் இந்திய நிறுவனங்கள் திணறி வருகின்றன.

எல்லா தொழிலையும் போல் இந்த தொழிலையும் சீனா ஆக்கிரமித்து இந்திய தொழில்களை முடக்கி விட்டால் பிறகு இந்தியா சீனாவை நம்பியே இருக்க வேண்டும். இதனை தவிர்ப்பதற்கு இந்திய அரசு மேக் இன் இந்தியா திட்டத்தை டைட்டானியம் தொழிலில் செயல்படுத்தவும், இந்தியாவிற்குள் இறக்குமதி ஆகும் டைட்டானிக் இறக்குமதி வரியை 40 சதவீதமாக அதிகரிக்கவும் வேண்டும்”இவ்வாறு அந்த கோரிக்கை மனுவில் பொன்சேகர் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
