EM stands for Effective Microorganisms. Maple Orgtech offers a package of products that can be used in a Farm. The product ranges from soil conditioning, to growth promotion and pest repellant.

The principal microbes present are Lactic Acid Bacteria (Lactobacillus spp.), Yeast (Saccharomyces spp.), and Phototrophic Bacteria (Rhodopseudomonas spp.) These microbes coexist in liquid culture below a pH of 3.5. The micro organisms are not genetically engineered, exotic or imported. They are produced in our manufacturing facility at Kolkata. These microbes are facultative and exhibits both aerobic and anaerobic characteristics. They work in a wide range of pH, temperatures and salinity.
