We’ve finally concluded our Half-Day Workshop on "UAV Modeling and Simulation using MATLAB and Simulink" at IIT Patna!

A big thank you to Dr. Pranav Lad from MathWorks for leading such an insightful session. Special thanks to the MathWorks team for organising this workshop free for all participants. We were thrilled to see over 130 students dive deep into UAV technology and simulation. Your enthusiasm made this workshop a great success!

With immense pleasure we would like to share that our student chapter is awarded the "ASME India Most Significant Membership Growth Award" in the ASME student section recognition program 2024. We sincerely thank our faculty advisor, Dr. Atul Thakur sir, who received the "ASME India Faculty All Star Supporter Award" in the same program. We also thank our student members and position holders in the previous year for their sincere efforts in successfully hosting all the events. We take great pride in hosting an expert talk by Dr. Nitin More from Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) on the topic "Failure Investigation of components in Nuclear power Plant". Thank you sir for interacting with the students of IIT Patna and enlightening us on how to think for practical solutions to the different failures encountered in the Nuclear Power Plants.

ASME student section of IIT Patna has successfully hosted the expert talk on "Current Drone Landscape and Opportunities in India" by the Co-founder of EndureAir Systems, Mr. Chirag Jain. We are happy to observe that many students have shown their interest in gathering the knowledge from one of the notable personalities recognized by the Forbes India 30 under 30, who also happens to be an alumni of IIT Patna. We look forward to see such zeal among students in the future events as well.
