Bihar State Seed Certification Agency,Patna has been started Genetic Purity Test in DNA Finger Printing Laborataoy at Molecular level(DNA Profiling or DNA Finger Printing) for Maintaing the quality seed Production in Bihar.DNA Finger Printing can be use to plant breeders to simplify their work and reduce the amount of time it takes to produce crops with desirable new traits.Our labs are working on

building a library of crop DNA Profiles.As new samples are analysed,a computer scan can produce matches b/w the samples and DNA Profiles already recorded.
